Walmsley Shaw was started in 2000 by Martin Shaw, who discovered his true vocation as a garden builder after a long career in the construction industry. We’re based in Bristol and work all over the south of England.

Martin’s expertise in construction and earthworks, coupled with a passion for traditional garden trades, has played a big part in our success. Every year, we’ve built better, more exciting gardens, as more leading designers have discovered what we’re capable of.

We’ve also developed an extensive professional network, which means we’re never short of the specialist skills (or muscle) we need to turn your plans into reality, however ambitious they may be.

Speaking of ambition, here’s ours. We want to be recognised as one of the country’s leading landscape contractors, sought out by the most talented garden designers and architects, when they want to be sure of doing the best possible job for their clients.
